“A pinch of salt in the big pot of translation”

Why salt? Well, because the first letters of my first and last names form the word “sel” – which means “salt” in French.

I’ve been working as a freelance Franco-German translator for over ten years, translating from English and German into French. And I’m a real bookworm.

I moved to Germany in 2008 after studying German, to practice the language and discover the land of pretzels up close. I discovered a lot more and ended up staying on the other side of the Rhine. After almost ten years in Berlin, I decided to move closer to France, and since 2020 I’ve been living in the former capital, Bonn.

My interests are eclectic and my curiosity allows me to tackle different types of texts. My clients include renowned language service providers, but also a museum as well as a number of companies in various sectors such as watchmaking and renewable energies.

And when I’m not working, I’m cooking, reading, traveling, running or climbing.
